Blueberry Swirl Iced Coffee Recipe – A Refreshing Summer Treat! ☕🫐

A refreshing iced coffee with a sweet blueberry swirl, perfect for summer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee or cold brew concentrate
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Fresh blueberries and mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, honey, and 2 tablespoons water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until blueberries burst and liquid thickens.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing on solids. Discard solids and let syrup cool completely.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour milk or cream over the ice.
  4. Slowly pour the coffee over the milk.
  5. Drizzle the blueberry syrup over the top and gently stir to create a swirl.
  6. Optionally, stir in vanilla extract. Garnish with fresh blueberries and mint. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and agave syrup instead of honey. The syrup can be stored in the fridge for up to one week.
