EASY FRIED CHEESE BITES

I make the easiest fried cheese bites with just 3 ingredients in 15 minutes. My foolproof recipe is the best hot and melty party snack everyone loves. Try it tonight!

Ingredients

2 large eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

8 ounces block mozzarella cheese

Vegetable oil, for frying

Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

Set up a breading station with one bowl of whisked eggs and one bowl of flour.

Cut the mozzarella block into 1/2-inch cubes.

Dredge each cheese cube first in flour, then dip in egg, then coat again in flour for a double layer.

Heat 1 1/2 inches of oil in a heavy pot to 375°F.

Fry the coated cheese bites in batches for 45-60 seconds until golden brown.

Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce.

Notes

Use a block of cheese, not pre-shredded, for the best melt. Ensure your oil is hot enough (375°F) before frying to seal the coating and prevent leaks. Do not overcrowd the pot to maintain oil temperature. For an air fryer version, spray with oil and cook at 400°F for 4-6 minutes.
