A quick and indulgent twist on classic grilled cheese, featuring crispy garlic butter bread and a blend of melted mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan. Ready in 15 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Pinch of salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter and minced garlic until well combined.
  2. Spread garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  5. Divide mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan evenly over the bread. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
  7. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from skillet, let cool for 1 minute, then slice and serve immediately. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or dried oregano to the garlic butter. Use a panini press for an even crispier result.
