This Hot Honey Chicken Pasta is a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and creamy. Juicy chicken in a rich sauce with pasta. Ready in 30 minutes.
– 8 ounces pasta
– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup hot honey
– 1/4 cup chicken broth
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– Fresh parsley for garnish
1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook in olive oil over medium high heat until golden and cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet.
3. Add minced garlic to skillet and cook 30 seconds. Stir in heavy cream, hot honey, chicken broth, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Return chicken to skillet. Add butter and stir until melted. Add drained pasta and toss to coat. Add pasta water if needed to thin sauce.
5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley.
For a milder dish, reduce red pepper flakes to 1/4 teaspoon. For extra heat, add more flakes or a pinch of cayenne.
