Molten Chocolate Mug Cake

This molten chocolate mug cake is the ultimate single-serving dessert. Ready in just 5 minutes, it delivers a rich, gooey center every time.

Ingredients

– 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
– 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
– 1 pinch salt
– 3 tablespoons milk
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 ounce dark chocolate, broken into small pieces

Instructions

1. In a 12 ounce microwave safe mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until the batter is smooth.
3. Press the dark chocolate pieces into the center of the batter. Do not stir.
4. Microwave on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute, until the edges are set and the center is jiggly.
