Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ounce dark chocolate, broken into pieces (or 2 tablespoons chocolate chips)

Instructions

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth batter forms.
  3. Gently fold in dark chocolate pieces, pushing them into the center of the batter.
  4. Microwave on high for 45-60 seconds. The edges should be set, and the center should be soft.
