Pina Colada Smoothie

I’m sharing my favorite healthy Pina Colada Smoothie recipe. It’s creamy, naturally sweetened, and tastes like a tropical vacation in a glass. Ready in 5 minutes!

Ingredients

2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
1 medium ripe banana, frozen
3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk beverage
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 tbsp unsweetened shredded coconut
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
3-4 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
Secure the lid and blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, about 60 seconds.
Stop to scrape down the sides if necessary. For a thicker smoothie, add ice cubes and blend again for 10-15 seconds.
Pour immediately into two glasses. Garnish with extra shredded coconut or a pineapple wedge if desired.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use plant-based yogurt and ensure your coconut milk is dairy-free. A ripe, frozen banana is key for sweetness and creaminess. Add a scoop of protein powder or a handful of spinach for an extra nutritional boost.
