Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (165°F). Transfer to a plate.
  3. Reduce heat to medium. Add garlic and lemon zest, cook 30 seconds. Pour in wine, scraping up browned bits. Simmer until reduced by half.
  4. Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, and capers. Simmer 3-4 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat to low. Whisk in heavy cream and butter until smooth.
  6. Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top. Warm 1-2 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
